Pet is a Registered Nurse (RN)( with a Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Nursing), and a Master’s degree in Public health (MSN-PH). Her philosophy and life’s work is about helping others. She currently lives in California, and works in the California Health Care Facility (CHCF). She started her post High school academic journey by graduating from University of Nigeria Nsukka with bachelor’s degree in English/Education. After graduating, Pet worked with Osina Micro Finance bank (then OCB Ltd) for fifteen years: served as personal manager (1990-1995, and as the general manager (1995-2006). When she relocated to United States Pet decided to change her career from banking to nursing . She graduated from San Francisco State University with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2011. She went further for her master’s program and graduated from Grand Canyon University,Arizona in 2015 with Master’s in Nursing with emphasis in Public Health (MSN-PH). She is active in many organizations and have served in different leadership positions including as secretary of Parish Catholic Women organization. Secretary, and later the president. She is currently the treasurer of Umuada Ndi Igbo in Diaspora Inc, Bay Area, California and the Publicity Secretary of Imo State Family Union (ISFU), Northern CA. She is married with children. Interest: Caring for the Vulnerable, has great passion in bringing healing and peace to others, devotes great effort and resources towards helping the very needy in her community.
